The original printed version was compiled by A. Nefedov, E. Klopotova, E. Kotorova, E. Kryukova, N. Grishina, and M. Zinn.
The creation of the printed dictionary was supported by the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, Leipzig (Prof. B. Comrie).
The electronic version underwent substantial revision by the original editors-in-chief E. Kotorova and A. Nefedov. Key updates include:
- Expansion of the headword list to include ethnocultural vocabulary, with corresponding explanations and references to ethnographic sources;
- Revision of the structure of some dictionary entries;
- General corrections made to the original text of dictionary entries;
- English translations added to illustrative Ket examples, supplementing the original Russian translations.
The electronic dictionary has been produced in the context of the joint research funding of the German Federal Government and Federal States in the Academies’ Programme, with funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. The Academies’ Programme is coordinated by the Union of the German Academies of Sciences and Humanities.
